Category Alias

Text

Enter the alias or the internal name of the section. Alias is used to form Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs.

If you leave the Category Alias field blank, the value of the Category Title field will be considered as section alias. However, the value will be converted to lowercase, and spaces will be replaced with dashes.

Category Alias name consists of lowercase letters and hyphens (-), and no blank spaces or underscores are allowed in it. Alias is used in the URL when SEF feature is activated.

Image

Select an image that will be displayed corresponding to this section at the front-end.

Image Position

Select the position where the image selected in the Image field will be placed in the front-end.

Enter description about the section.

Meta Description

Rich text

Enter the information of the Meta Description tag to be displayed as the summary of your section’s description in the search results list. For more information, refer to Terminology.

Online For Special: Allows users of Author group or higher to access the plug-in.

Offline Message

Enter a message that will be displayed at the front-end if Section Access is set as ‘Offline’. By default, the message is, “This section is currently offline. Please, check back later.”

Select the front-end menu item whose item ID will be used by the section to generate link. This allows you to change the ItemID value in the URL and change page layout for each page.

Primary Order

Select the order in which the articles belonging to the section will be listed by default. For example, you can select “Most Hits” so that the articles are listed based on the number of hits; the article with maximum number of hits will be first in the list.

Pagination

Select an appropriate pagination option. By default, its value is Show. For more information, see Terminology.

Category Mode

Dropdown

Select the type of the section being added. The options available are:

Public Listing: If this option is selected then you can create unlimited number of categories and multi-leveled categories within the section, and add articles to the categories. The Public Listing option is selected by default.

Personal Listing: If this option is selected then front-end users can create categories within the section. However, the front-end users cannot create multi-leveled categories within the section. Also, only limited number of categories can be created within the section.

Mixed Listing: If this option is selected then the section will belong to both public and personal type.

Client Records

Dropdown

Select whether to show or hide articles and categories belonging to other clients. The term ‘client’ refers to a user groups, such as a People Touch group.

Language Mode

Select whether the section will display only those articles, which are in current language or the section will display articles in all languages.

Featured First

If set to Yes, articles marked as featured first will be displayed first at the front-end.

Show Future record

Category Meaning (single)

    Cart Settings

Product Cart Type

Set product cart type using these parameter. There are 3 type available in Commerce component:
Checkout cart – buyers will use Mighty Invoices component payment plugins (online and offline payment methods) to pay for products.
Inquire cart – buyers use inbox message system to contact seller. You need Mighty Message component for this type of product cart.

Inquire type

Choose message type which will be used for Product cart. “Product Cart Type” parameter should be set to “Inquire cart” to make this parameter work.

Inquire seller(s)

Here you can add sellers usernames who will get inquire message of order. If Multi Seller parameter set to YES then you have to separate sellers usernames by comma.

Cart Mode

Buy now – means that users may put only one product to shopping cart.
Multi seller – means that users may put several products to shopping cart.

Cart Multi Vendor

Set No for section with tangible products as there is no way to apply shipping scheme for different sellers products.
Set Yes if you do not plan to sell  tangible products in the section.

    Payment Flow

Payment method

Global method: uses global settings in payment gateway, i.e. payment gateway settings which should be set by Super administrator with id = 62 in the section’s commerce cpanel configuration at the front-end. Allows to add different sellers products to shopping cart.
Personal method: requires to set ‘Cart Multi Vendor’ into NO and uses seller’s payment settings, i.e. payment plugin settings which should be set by each seller in the commerce cpanel configuration at the front-end.
