Understanding Section Parameters

Main tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Category Name	Text	Enter the name of the section being created.
Category Title	Text	Enter the title of the section being created.
Category Alias	Text	Enter the alias or the internal name of the section. Alias is used to form Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs. If you leave the Category Alias field blank, the value of the Category Title field will be considered as section alias. However, the value will be converted to lowercase, and spaces will be replaced with dashes. Category Alias name consists of lowercase letters and hyphens (-), and no blank spaces or underscores are allowed in it. Alias is used in the URL when SEF feature is activated.
Image	Dropdown	Select an image that will be displayed corresponding to this section at the front-end.
Image Position	Dropdown	Select the position where the image selected in the Image field will be placed in the front-end.
Description	Rich text	Enter description about the section.
Meta Description	Rich text	Enter the information of the Meta Description tag to be displayed as the summary of your section’s description in the search results list. For more information, refer to Terminology.
Meta Keywords	Rich text	Enter the Meta Keywords of the section being created. For more information, refer to Terminology.

General tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Section Access	Dropdown	Select an option based on which the current section will be accessible at the front-end. The options available are as follows: Offline: The contents of this section are not visible at the front-end if this option is selected. Online For Public: Allows everyone to access the section. This option is selected by default. Online For Registered: Allows only registered users to access the section. Online For Special: Allows users of Author group or higher to access the plug-in.
Offline Message	Textarea	Enter a message that will be displayed at the front-end if Section Access is set as ‘Offline’. By default, the message is, “This section is currently offline. Please, check back later.”
Itemid Target	Dropdown	Select the front-end menu item whose item ID will be used by the section to generate link. This allows you to change the ItemID value in the URL and change page layout for each page.
Primary Order	Dropdown	Select the order in which the articles belonging to the section will be listed by default. For example, you can select “Most Hits” so that the articles are listed based on the number of hits; the article with maximum number of hits will be first in the list.
Pagination	Dropdown	Select an appropriate pagination option. By default, its value is Show. For more information, see Terminology.
Category Mode	Dropdown	Select the type of the section being added. The options available are: Public Listing: If this option is selected then you can create unlimited number of categories and multi-leveled categories within the section, and add articles to the categories. The Public Listing option is selected by default. Personal Listing: If this option is selected then front-end users can create categories within the section. However, the front-end users cannot create multi-leveled categories within the section. Also, only limited number of categories can be created within the section. Mixed Listing: If this option is selected then the section will belong to both public and personal type.
Client Records	Dropdown	Select whether to show or hide articles and categories belonging to other clients. The term ‘client’ refers to a user groups, such as a People Touch group.
Language Mode	Dropdown	Select whether the section will display only those articles, which are in current language or the section will display articles in all languages.
Featured First	Yes/No	If set to Yes, articles marked as featured first will be displayed first at the front-end.
Show Future record	Yes/No	Display future records in the records list. Future records means records with future creation date.
Show Expired records	Yes/No	Display expired records in the records list. Expired records means records with passed expiration date.
Cache	Please, enable only after you configure and set this section ready for live.
Enable Cache	Yes/No	Activate/Deactivate Resources cache. You may clean Resources cache using Resources Tools plugin.
Live days		Set cache live time in days.
Templates
Record List	Dropdown	Select the template to display the list of articles belonging to this section. The list is displayed at the front-end.
Filters	Dropdown	Select the template to display the filters corresponding to the articles belonging to this section. The filters are displayed at the front-end.
Category Index	Dropdown	Select the template to display the list of articles in the category index.
User Menu	Dropdown	Select the template to display the User Menu block. User menu block is displayed over the category index block.
Compare	Dropdown	Select the template to display list of records for comparison. Record List template should be vertical table template.
Mobile Templates	Templates will be loaded if user agent is one of set in global configuration. For general mobile view joomla template view www.mightytemplate.com
Record List	Dropdown	Select the template to display the list of articles belonging to this section. The list is displayed at the front-end.
Filters	Dropdown	Select the template to display the filters corresponding to the articles belonging to this section. The filters are displayed at the front-end.
Category Index	Dropdown	Select the template to display the list of articles in the category index.
User Menu	Dropdown	Select the template to display the User Menu block. User menu block is displayed over the category index block.
Submission
Submit Type	Multiple Select	Set content Type(s) for records submission at the front-end.
Count Limit	Text	Strict number of records available for the submission by each user. Set 0 to allow each user to submit unlimited number of records.
Moderation	List of user IDs separated by coma without white space. Better set moderators from the front-end.
Delete Record	Text	Set moderator for Delete Record action.
Archive Record	Text	Set moderator for Archive Record action.
Block Comments	Text	Set moderator for Block Comments action.
Publish Records	Text	Set moderator for Publish records action.
Prolong Expired Records	Text	Set moderator for Prolong Expired Records action.
Edit Records	Text	Set moderator for Edit Record action. Here you may allow other Registered user(s) to edit other users records.
Edit Record Fields	Text	Set moderator for Edit Records Fields action. This option is not fully realized yet. Please set moderator for whole article edit action.
Delete Comment	Text	Set moderator for Edit Comment action.
Publish Comment	Text	Set moderator for Publish Comment action. Publish comment link moderator will get via email, there is no way to publish comment via record layout
Delete Rating Vote	Text	Set moderator for Delete Rating Vote.
Delete Comment Rating	Text	Set moderator for Delete Comment Rating action.

Properties tab

Feed & Syndication
Max items	Text	Maximum number of records in rss/atom feed.
Primary Order	Dropdown	Rss/Atom feed ordering.
Show A Feed Link RSS	Yes/No	Activate/Deactivate RSS feed syndication.
Show A Feed Link Atom	Yes/No	Activate/Deactivate Atom feed syndication.
Feed Link Type	Dropdown	Set type of rss/atom feed. There are 2 values of this parameter: “All Articles in the Section” – rss/atom feed are created using articles from section and its subcategories. “Articles only in current category” – rss/atom feed are created using articles from current category only.
Elements
Restricted Records	Hide/Show	Show restricted articles in the list. Restricted means articles with access level higher than section visitor, for instance, registered users may see intro view of records with special access level, but registered users cannot view full access.
Title Index	Hide/Show	Enable/Disable Title Index block. This is anchor links list called “On This Page”.
Category Description	Hide/Show	Show/Hide category description.
Description Image	Hide/Show	Show/Hide category description image.
Rating Sort & Count
Calculation Mode	Dropdown	Choose records rating calculation mode: Plain rating – calculation without formula. Count every rating. Bayesian rating – use formula taking into account average votes. Try to Google to findout more (br = ( (avg_num_votes * avg_rating) + (this_num_votes * this_rating) ) / (avg_num_votes + this_num_votes)) Smart rating – our own formula. Calculates plain average but only for last period of time and only if there are more then X votes. Use parameters below.
Bayesian Average	Dropdown	Set Bayesian rating averaging type. Parameter applied for “Bayesian rating” only
Smart rating Period days	Text	Set period of time (in days) after which smart rating is started count for the new records.
Smart rating minimum votes	Text	Set minimum number of votes to make Smart rating start count for the record
Search	Set parameters for Mighty Resources search
Min word length	Text	Define minimum number of symbols in every searching words. In other words if you set 5 symbols then you cannot find words which consist 4 characters or less.
Max words used	Text	Strict number of word in search query. Set 3 to prohibit users searching phrase consisted more than 3 words

User Menu tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Menu	Yes/No	Show/Hide User Menu block. Menu displays links to create new record, navigate to personal section,… It is useful to turn it off if you want to add those links to module menu(on a side) and do not want them double on the page.
Show Icons	Yes/No	Display icons in User Menu. Ican can be chosen in “Menu Elements Icons”.
Show Numbers	Yes/No	Show/Hide how many itmes supposed to be under every menu element.
Personalize Touch Group Menu	Yes/No	Show/Hide user menu in Touch Group sections. Also will add link to show My Records or Records of other authors to user dropdown menu.
Show Element Favorites	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide Favorites element in User menu. Favorites element is list of records which were marked as favorite by the user. Favorites element can be displayed in: Resource Section layout Touch Group Section layout Both layouts or disabled for all layouts (It’s the same for all User Menu elements).
Show Element Rated	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide Rated element in User menu. Rated element is list of records which were rated by the user.
Show Element Commented	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide Commented element in User menu. Commented element is list of records which were commented by the user.
Show Element Last Visited	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide Last Visited element in User menu. Last Visited element is list of records which were visited by the user.
Show Element Expired	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Allow/Disallow users to hide their records when they add or edit records. Option “Do you want to hide this record?” appears in the end of record form when “Show Element Expired” is activated for certain section layout.
Show Element Hidden	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide Hidden element in User menu. Hidden element is list of records which were unpublished by the user or by admin/moderator.
Show Element On Approval	Dropdown ( None Resource Section Touch Group Section Both )	Show/hide On Approval element in User menu. On Approval element is list of records which are awaited administrator check.
User Title	Text	Set title for users items page.
My Title	Text	Set title for current logged in user items page.
Menu Elements Labels	Here you may set unique labels of User Menu links and parts. Please note that every label can be added to language file and translated to other languages.
Show All	Text	Set label for “Show All” user’s records link.
Category Manage	Text	Set label for manage private categories link.
Add Category	Text	Set label for add private category link.
Delete Category	Text	Set label for delete private category link.
Add Record	Text	Set label for add record link.
Add Record Register	Text	Set label for add record link for public users.
My Records	Text	Set label for My records link.
Created	Text	Set label for User’s Created records list link.
Favorited	Text	Set label for User’s Favorited records list link.
Last Visited	Text	Set label for User’s Visited records list link.
Commented	Text	Set label for User’s Commented records list link.
Rated	Text	Set label for User’s Rated records list link.
Hidden	Text	Set label for User’s Hidden records list link.
On Approval	Text	Set label for User’s On Approval records list link. “On Approval” means records which are awaited administrator approval.
Expired	Text	Set label for User’s Expired records list link.
Menu Elements Icons	Set icons for User Menu Elements. You may create your own images, upload to ‘components/com_resource/images/user_menu/’ directory and set for certain section.
Show All	Dropdown	Choose icon for Show All element.
Add Record	Dropdown	Choose icon for Add Record element.
Category Manage	Dropdown	Choose icon for Category Manage element.
My Records	Dropdown	Choose icon for Category Manage element.
Created	Dropdown	Choose icon for Created element.
Favorited	Dropdown	Choose icon for Favorited element.
Last Visited	Dropdown	Choose icon for Last Visited element.
Rated	Dropdown	Choose icon for Rated element.
Commented	Dropdown	Choose icon for Commented element.
Hidden	Dropdown	Choose icon for Hidden element.

Filter Box tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Show Filter Box	Yes/No	Select whether to show or hide the Filter box at the front-end. The Filter box comprises of alfa index, order boxes, and filters.
make RSS/Atom feed for filter	Yes/No	Display RSS/Atom icon when some filter or alpha index applied.
Show Alfa Index	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Alfa Index at the front-end.
Filter Warnings	Show/Hide	Select whether to show small boxes of currently applied filters with ability to close each filter separately.
Template Switcher	Show/Hide	Show/Hide template switcher link, i.e. allow users to switch records list templates at the front-end. To activate template switcher you have to set 2 or more templates for “Record List” section parameter as well.
Filters
Filtering Mode	Dropdown	Select whether or not filtering will be applied to categories of this section.
Show Field Filters	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the filters generated from the fields, which are set as filters. Fields can be set as filters when they are added to a content type. Only following fields can be set as filters: checkbox, radio button, select simple, multiple select, text. Other fields require advanced filter plugins.
Show Extended Filters	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the filters produced by advanced filters plugins.
Show Search	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the search text box at the front-end.
Show Category	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Change Category drop-down list at the front-end.
Show Limit	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the dropdown that allows user to change the number of items being displayed in a page.
Order Box
Show Order box	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Order box at the front-end.
Show Fields	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the additional fields in the Order box that are displayed at the front-end. To make a field appears in Order Box you need set field “Sortable” inside field settings.
Show Created	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Created date field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of their date of creation.
Show Modified	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Modified date field in the Order box at the front-end. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of their date of modification.
Show Title	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Title field in the Order box at the front-end. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of their title names.
Show Hits	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Hits field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of the number of times they were visited.
Show Author	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Author field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of their author names.
Show Rate	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Rated field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of number of ratings given to an article.
Show Comment	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Commented field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of number of comments given to an article.
Show Favorite	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the Favorited field in the Order box. This field allows you to sort articles on the basis of number of times an article has been added to favorites.

Categories Public tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Category Index	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the list of categories displayed at the front-end.
Empty Categories	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide empty categories at the front-end. Empty category refers to a category that is not having any article associated with it.
Order category	Dropdown	Set category index ordering.
Category Index Type	Show/Hide	Select whether all the categories of the section will be listed at the front-end or only the categories belonging to the selected category will be listed at the front-end. There are two options available: Static and Dynamic. If Static option is selected, all the categories of the section including the subcategories are displayed at the front-end. If Dynamic option is selected, only the categories of the current category are displayed.
Subcategories
Show Subcategories	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the subcategories at the front-end.
Show Empty	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide empty subcategories at the front-end.
Depth Level	Text	Enter the depth level of the subcategory to be displayed at the front-end. By default, its value is 3.
Subcategories Limit	Dropdown	Select the maximum number of subcategories to be displayed at the front-end.

Categories Private tab

Parameter	Type	Description
Category Index	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the list of users private categories at the front-end.
Description	Show/Hide	Select whether to show or hide the description of category to which the articles belong at the front-end.
Empty Categories	Show/Hide	Show or hide empty users private categories in the categories index. Empty categories means categories without a single record on it.
Items Num	Show/Hide	Show or hide the numbers of records each private category contains.
Home Records	Show/Hide	Show or Hide users records on user’s Homepage before private category is selected.
Category Columns	Dropdown	Select the number of columns to be displayed for a category at the front-end.
Category Meaning (single)	Text	Enter the category meaning. By default, its value is Category. This means that the category created by the user at the front-end will be treated as single category, such as folder, album, and repository.
Category Meaning (plural)	Text	Enter the category meaning. By default, its value is Categories. This means that the categories created by the user at the front-end will be treated as multi-level categories, such as folders, albums, and repositories.
Category Submission
Allow new category	Dropdown	Select the type of user who will be allowed to add new category.
Limit Categories	Text	Enter the maximum number of private categories every user can create. By default, its value is 0, which means that every user can create unlimited number of private categories.
Allow Icon Upload	Yes/No	If set to Yes, user can upload icon for every private category.
Icon Max Width	Text	Enter the maximum width of the icon that allows the icon to be resized to this width if the icon’s width is greater that the maximum width. By default, its value is 100.
Icon Max Height	Text	Enter the maximum height of the icon that allows the icon to be resized to this height if the icon’s height is greater that the maximum height. By default, its value is 100.
Show Meta Fields	Yes/No	If set to Yes, user can add meta description and meta keywords for the section being created. For more information, see Terminology.

Commerce tab (These parameters require Mighty Commerce to be installed)

Parameter	Type	Description
Enable Commerce	Yes/No	Set/unset section as product catalog with live sales from it through Commerce component.
Multi seller	Yes/No	Set whether section has several sellers or one seller only. Set “Yes” if you plan to set several sellers for the section.
Allow add ship method to seller	Yes/No	Allow sellers to add shipping methods via Commerce CPanel at the front-end. Each shipping methods may include a lot of shipping methods.
Core currency	Dropdown	Set core currency for the section. Each section can have only one core currency.
Price Format	Dropdown	Set price format for the section.
Icon Template	Dropdown	Choose Commerce cpanel icons layout.
Date Format	Dropdown	Set date format format for our
Open order history in	Dropdown	Define the way of seller’s order history will open on front-end. You may set to open order history in shadow box or in the same window.
Cart Settings
Product Cart Type	Dropdown	Set product cart type using these parameter. There are 3 type available in Commerce component: Checkout cart – buyers will use Mighty Invoices component payment plugins (online and offline payment methods) to pay for products. Inquire cart – buyers use inbox message system to contact seller. You need Mighty Message component for this type of product cart. Credit system - buyers may purchase only i аерун have enough money on thier balance. See Customer settings parameters to learn more information about user balance
Inquire type	Dropdown	Choose message type which will be used for Product cart. “Product Cart Type” parameter should be set to “Inquire cart” to make this parameter work.
Inquire seller(s)	Text	Here you can add sellers usernames who will get inquire message of order. If Multi Seller parameter set to YES then you have to separate sellers usernames by comma.
Cart Mode	Dropdown	Buy now – means that users may put only one product to shopping cart. Multi seller – means that users may put several products to shopping cart.
Cart Multi Vendor	Yes/No	Set No for section with tangible products as there is no way to apply shipping scheme for different sellers products. Set Yes if you do not plan to sell tangible products in the section.
Payment Flow
Payment method	Dropdown	Global method: uses global settings in payment gateway, i.e. payment gateway settings which should be set by Super administrator with id = 62 in the section’s commerce cpanel configuration at the front-end. Allows to add different sellers products to shopping cart. Personal method: requires to set ‘Cart Multi Vendor’ into NO and uses seller’s payment settings, i.e. payment plugin settings which should be set by each seller in the commerce cpanel configuration at the front-end.
Available gateways to make payments (for customers)	Multiple select	Set payment gateway which will be available for customers, in other words set payment gateways which will be used for selling
Available gateways to payout (for sellers)	Multiple select	Set payment gateways which will be available for seller, i.e. payment plugins which will be used to pill up seller’s balances.
Positive balance Limit	Text	This limit is used for Commerce page User Balances at the back-end to filter users balance to pay out.
Bill to pile up a balance	Dropdown	Set bill which will be used for sellers to pile up their balances. Please note that you have to create bill in Mighty Invoices component first.
Standard Seller Settings
Shop commission %	Text	Shop commission percentage for total order sum.
Transaction commission	Text	This is fixed sum of money in this section’s Commerce Core Currency to be charged for every bill transaction.
Commission minimum	Text	A fixed sum in this section’s Commerce Core Currency to be charged as commission WHEN sum of the Shop commission and Transaction commission is less than this Minimum. If Minimum is empty or 0 commission will be charged as is.
Allow negative balance	Yes/No	Allows to seller sell the products having negative balance.
Negative balance Limit	Text	Set negative balance limit, sellers products stop selling as soon as Negative Balance Limit is reached.
Request Seller	Complex	Select Mighty Registration field and its value that is associated with request to become seller. Read article to learn more about arrange of confirming seller process.
Confirm Seller	Complex	Select Mighty Registration field and its value that will confirm that this user is the seller. Read article to learn more about arrange of confirming seller process.
Confirm Seller by subscription	Multiple select	Select Mighty Membership plans. If user have subscriptions on this plans he will be confirmed to be seller. This parameter has higher priority than Confirm Seller field. For more information read here.
Silver Seller Settings
Enable	Yes/No	Activate silver sellers for the section.
Shop commission %	Text	Shop commission percentage for total order sum.
Transaction commission	Text	This is fixed sum of money in this section’s Commerce Core Currency to be charged for every bill transaction.

Gold Seller Settings
Enable	Yes/No	Activate gold sellers for the section.

Seller CPanel Settings
Show CPanel buttons	Multiple select	Select CPanel buttons that will be available to seller.
Customer Settings
Allow negative balance	Yes/No	Allow/prohibit to purchase products for customers with 0 or negative balance.
Negative balance Limit	Text	Set negative balance limit. Customers cannot purchase products as soon as their balance is reached this limit.
Bill to pile up a balance	Dropdown	Set bill which will be used by customers to pile up their balances. Note that you have to create bill in Mighty Invoice component first.
Allow gift certificates to pile up a balance	Yes/No	Allow/prohibit customers from piling up their balances with gift certificate. Gift certificates should be created by seller.
