Understanding Common Module Parameters
The following tables describe the parameters, which are common for all the modules:

Position |
Dropdown |
Select the position where the module will be displayed at the front-end. The positions in the dropdown are provided by template. |

Select the order in which this module will be displayed within the selected position, if more than one module is displayed at the same position. |
Access Level |
List |
Select the access level so that the module is accessible only to the users who belong to the group containing the selected access level. The options available are as follows: Public: Allows everyone to access the module. Registered: Allows only registered users to access the module. Special: Allows users of Author group or higher to access the module. |

Label |
Displays the unique identification number for the module. This is automatically assigned by Joomla. It is used to identify the module internally. For example, in internal links. This value cannot be changed. |

None: Do not show the current module on pages of any of the front-end menu items. Select Menu Item(s) from the List: Select individual menu items that will display the module at the front-end. This selection can be made in the “Menu Selection” field.

Select one or more front-end menu items on whose pages this module will be displayed. All the items of the Menu Selection field will be selected by default, if ‘All’ is selected in the Menus field. The Menu Selection field will be disabled if ‘None’ is selected in the Menus field. |
