Getting Started
You can install, configure, and use the Mighty Resources component only after logging into the Joomla back-end. Before installing Mighty Resources on your system or a server, ensure that Joomla 1.5 native is installed on it and you have the credentials for logging into Joomla back-end.
To access the Mighty Resources component and utilize its features:
1. Log into Joomla back-end with administrative privileges.
2. Install the Mighty Resources component according to installation instructions.
3. Install the required plugins and modules according to plugin and module installation instructions.
4. Open Mighty Resources Configuration by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Configuration and configure all the parameters according to the configuration instructions.
5. Open Mighty Resources Content Types by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Types, as shown in the following figure:
In Mighty Resources Content Types, you can add content types, such as video, audio, trade lead, property, business listings, download, gallery, product, blog posts and etc.
6. Add fields to the content type you created. To add or edit fields, navigate to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Types and click the Fields link corresponding to the type for which you want to add a field. For more information, see Fields.
7. Open Mighty Resources Sections by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Sections, as shown in the following figure:
In Mighty Resources Sections, you can add sections, which can be used to group categories.
8. Add categories to the section you created. To add or edit categories, navigate to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Sections and click the categories link corresponding to the section for which you want to add a category. For more information, see Categories.
9. Open Mighty Resources Content Items by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Content, as shown in the following figure:
In Mighty Resources Content Items, you can add content items based on your requirements. You may add content through the back-end as well as the front-end.
10. Open Mighty Resources Custom Templates by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Templates, as shown in the following figure:
In Mighty Resources Custom Templates, you can perform several tasks pertaining to templates, such as installing, uninstalling, creating, and renaming templates.
11. Create new links that will appear at the front-end and allow users to access various pages. For more information, see Creating Links.
12. View, edit, and delete comments by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Comments. Comments are related to articles. Front-end users post comments after reading articles. For more information, see Comments.
13. View and delete ratings by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Votes. Votes are related to articles. Front-end users give ratings after reading articles. For more information, see Rating.
14. Open Mighty Resources Tag Manager by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Tags, as shown in the following figure:
In Mighty Resources Tag Manager, you can manage all tags by editing and deleting them if they are not correct.
15. Add, edit, delete, and publish filters by navigating to Joomla Menu-> Components-> .Mighty Resources-> Filters. Filters are used at the front-end to search articles based on specific criteria. For more information, see Filters.
After you have finished working with Mighty Resources component, you can log out of the Joomla back-end by clicking the Logout button.
