Understanding Filter Parameters
Filters has several types of parameters. Here is description of filters main parameters:

Enter the name of the filter being added. |

Filter Type |
Dropdown |
Select the filter type from the drop-down list. |

Published |
Yes/No |
If set to Yes, the added filter is published. Otherwise (‘No’) the filter is not visible on the front-end. |

Access |
Multiple Select |
Select the access so that the filter is accessible only to the users who belong to the group containing the selected access level. The options available are as follows: Public: Allows everyone to access the filter. Registered: Allows only registered users to access filter(s). Special: Allows users of Author group or higher to access the filter(s). |

Order |
Dropdown |
Select the position at which the current filter will be displayed in the list of filters in the Filters module or in section filters block. |
