Upload files - allow users to upload files.
Insert URL – users may set the path to file.
List Directory - users may choose  files from the list.

Define initial directory with files list. You need pay attention to this parameter only if you set parameter “Add as” to “List Directory” position.

Attach Timestamp

Set yes to attach timestamp to uploaded file name to make file name unique.

Maximum Upload size (KB)

Set maximum picture file size which users may upload within File field plugin. Please note that php has it’s own upload file size limit and you cannot upload files larger than php upload limit has.
